Irwin Industries was started in the late 1960’s by Cec Irwin. In the early years Irwin Industries focused on installing rain gutters (eavestroughs) using the new seamless gutter technology, and soffits. Cec Irwin sold Irwin Industries in 1978. The company diversified into installing siding, aluminum railings and patio covers. 10 years later, in 1988, Irwin was sold to the present owners. Since then, Irwin Industries has become the largest installer of exterior home building products on Vancouver Island. Over 50 people are engaged in the installation of:
